Strawberry fields... wheres the shimmer??

I had wanted Strawberry fields foreveeeer so was so chuffed to be gifted with it! Finally tried it out...now.. don't get me wrong its gorgeous and I AM A PINK-AHOLIC ...however all the gorgeous macro shots I have seen...well the shimmer doesn't translate as nicely in person... maybe I need to live in sunnier climates??

It is still no doubt pretty with secret shimmer... May layer some gold pure ice over it and see if that blows my socks off!!

Am having some serious chipping issues atm... don't know if its all the typing/writing ... but they are lucky to last 24 hours whereas normally I can go a week at a push!! boo

.. MPJ .. well (my mums MPJ)

This isn't mine, its my mums..she kindly let me use it for a party :-) ...I think it must be her topcoat cos it was chipping off like mad after 1 night!! I made a wee pitstop in London last weekend.... of course my previous mani did not survive travel, suitcase and many many revision notes!

Either way..its gorgeous.. this deffo has a lot of holo in it..but is not THE HOLO version...

My ma has been frankening polish with this..(omg!!) lol Glad I got to try it out for one mani, deffo would love to get my grubby mitts on the holo one!

(my nails are wrecked...excuse them.. need to chop them off ASAP!)

Just a quickie!!

Still here guys.. 2 weeks and 2 days until my end of year Law exams..eeek!!

Cant wait to be back to blogging, lighthearted reading and enjoying some blogs!! My nails are wrecked, so going to take them right down and have short square ones for a wee while

This is two coats, with seche its completely smooth and glassy ..Mmmm

Wondering if setting up franken swaps or something like that might be cool if anyone likes the look of any of my frankens ... just throwing an idea out there lol comment tell me what you think :-)

Study break! ... Franken with flakies

Long time no blog.. I know.. I have 3 weeks and 1 day until one of the most important exams of my life.. stressed ain't the word!! Anyhoo.. am having a wee break this evening, seeing the boy and relaxing!

Anyhoo.. I made two frankens yesterday, here is the first one :-) Pleas excuse the fast and dirty swatching!!

I made it by mixing..
Hello Kitty cool summer (purple w/glitter holo)
Black (wnw)
Confetti glitter
Flakies - GOSH Rainbow was used - SH HT is identical(but I wasn't gonna franken with that!!)

I love the flakies in it.. I am always way too lazy to layer flakies on top..plus I like things that look like they are suspended in polish..scrummy!!

Anyhoo lovelies, just a quickie! Am in the midst of sorting a hair blog too atm..so watch this space.. yes one obsession isn't enough!! LOL .. I am on the hunt for V05 Moisture milks- the conditioners atm.. if anyone can source them for me, I would be willing to swap for em once my manic revision is over!! ( I'll swap Bloom for 2 bottles of VO5...Purrty please) - we do have a version of them here bit it is full of CONES!! bluerg!

Layering fun...Saved by the blue meets Rio

Saved by the blue meets Pure Ice Rio... oo...Started with 2 coats of the blue then layered with Rio... gorgeous... at one coat it had a hint of the UD Bruise about it...but me being me.. I had to go ruin it with 2 coats lol Still pretty :-)











I took a whole load of pics trying to capture how gorgeous and duochrome this is in real life... was hard to capture.. if you have these two, give it a try!!

Studying is going a little tits up the say the least, so tired all the time, keep falling asleep..exhausted!! Pushing on with it... a wee nail polishing break was in order :-)

Anyways.. my Hair obsession is somewhat overtaking my nail obsession atm..eeek!

Just a quick post lovies, this week is getting worse and worse.. am already praying for Saturday!!

Anyoo.. Zoya Meadow, my 2nd Zoya :-) weeow exciting, I wish wish they did International shipping !!

This is 2 coats of Zoya over some nail underwear (Creme white) - topped with Seche

Really like this one, nice gold shimmer.. work appropriate but still with a little something special :-)

This applied really lovely, 2 coats nice and smooth..despite the white being bumpy lol.. dried super fast too, time I did a few tweets it was dry enough for photographs!!

Now I am lemming the winter Zoya's even more.. boo!

Back to the books for the time being!!

...Exams... eeek

Just a wee post guys, I have 5 weeks till my university exams, oh and 1 more big assignment to complete!! soooo.. My posting is going to slow down/be a little sporadic.. but hang on in there with me, soon as its over me and my nails will be back to daily posts!!

I will continue reading blogs to unwind..and adding to my ever growing wishlist!!

Forget what I said about Shimmer... OPI Wing it!

OPI Wing it...

I wanted to make this look as close to in the bottle as possible, Pink & Orange shimmer, so I layered this over Sinful Pink Creme - after playing various layering games with it on a nail wheel...and.. I think it brings out the shimmer.. on its own it would be very sheer!!layered up like this.... I love it!

Yesterday I said I usually don't like shimmer.... well I think I am warming to it :-) Thanks to J for this one :-) So pleased with it, I only have maybe 4 OPI so pleased to have another one :-)

I took lots of snaps.... I will let the OPI do the talking!
